Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Early College Network

This site has been established to assist practitioners and school leaders on matters relating to Early College High Schools. Early College High Schools are unique, small high schools that allow students to earn both a high school diploma and an associate's degree (or 60 transferable college credits) in five or fewer years.

Governor's P20 Council

On November 7 the Preparation and Transitions Subcommittee of the Governor's P20 council met for the last time before the full council will meet and finalize recommendations to the governor on November 17 in Fort Morgan (see Agenda). Gary Cooper and Chris Gerboth collaborated with subcommittee co-chair Linda Bowman to draft recommendations for expanding concurrent enrollment programs and lowering traditional barriers to access among Colorado's most at-risk students. The subcommittee also passed along recommendations related to assessment and data systems and a diploma endorsement that is favored by the governor. Things have been moving so fast that the page is out of date, but you can visit the P20 Council Page for more information.
